About Me
Hi it’s Crista Hark!
I’m a birth and postpartum doula hoping to educate other doulas about the sacrament of life.
I am also a DōTERRA wellness advocate hoping to serve you and your family wherever your journey takes you. As noted I cannot use my DōTERRA wellness advocacy in my doula practice. Doulas are not clinical or to practice medicine to help their clients, we refer them to their provider.
I am a mother to two kids, married to the love of my life, and living in the Spanish Fork, Utah area.
My life's mission: Empowering people to prioritize the well-being of themselves and their families wholeheartedly.
What to expect with my services
I’m thrilled about the chance to collaborate with you and your birth companion!
1
One interview: online or in-person
2
Two to three prenatal visits. Each visit usually lasting 1.5 to 2 hours. Will cover various topics such as your goals, birth, preferences, fetal rotation, available options, your concerns, comfort measures, and any other questions you might have. Plus it’s a great chance for us to get to know each other.
3
Unlimited contact to reach out via text, call, zoom, emails, or FaceTime anytime – – whether it’s before, or after your babies arrival – – for any questions or concerns you may have.
4
Available and on-call whenever you need extra labor support, day or night. Keep in mind that once you’ve asked me to join, it usually takes an hour or more for me to get there.
5
Basic Postpartum package (offered to all). I remain with you 1-2 hours after birth, until you are comfortable, breastfeeding, or your family is ready for quiet time together.
6
After the birth, you’ll receive a postpartum visit with birth notes, and a special keepsake, delivered right to your door.
7
Opting for the postpartum package means I’ll be there one day each week for five weeks to provide support to you, your birth companion, and your newborn during the postpartum period. This includes assistance with breast-feeding or formula, making meals, making sure the needs of your family are met.
What my birth and postpartum doula services do not include:
As a doula, I do not perform clinical tasks such as blood pressure checks, fetal heart monitoring, or vaginal exams. My role is focused on providing physical comfort, emotional support, and advocacy to help create your ideal birthing experience.
I do not make decisions on your behalf. Instead, I assist you in gathering necessary information to make informed choices and will gently remind you if there are deviations from your birth preferences.
While I do not directly communicate decisions to the staff, I serve as your advocate for your birth preferences. I will discuss any concerns with you, offer suggestions, and you or your birth companion will convey your decisions to the birthing team.
What are my fees:
